Jesus Healing the Blind Man

The Gospels recount three different occasions when Jesus cures a single blind man: Mark 8:22-26, Luke 18:35-43, and John 9:1-7. The account in Luke does not mention Jesus' touching the man's eyes or directing him in any way. In Mark and John he sends the man on his way, as is illustrated by his gesture here. The episode in Mark takes place "out of town," whereas the one in John happens in Jerusalem after Jesus had fled the Temple. Also, Mark's is the only account that mentions trees: When the blind man's eyesight is returning: "I see men as it were trees, walking." Thus, if one wished to associate this image to a particular Gospel passage it should be to the one in Mark.
